Cell Phone Policy Review in HC

A policy banning cameras in the Henry County Courthouse is expected to soon come up for review. he question about the 23 year old policy emerged last month when a man told the Henry County Board of Supervisors that the policy violated his rights. Tim Bowen of Ridgeway told the Board that he felt his First Amendment rights were violated when he was not allowed to take a cell phone into the courthouse. The policy includes banning cell phones with cameras. 21st Judicial Circuit chief judge David V. Williams says he expects the policyu to be reviewed after the upcoming judicial conference.
