Danville Officer Saves Child’s Life

Danville police officer Melissa Carey, is being praised for her quick actions to save a baby that had stopped breathing. According to the Danville Police Department it happened at a Riverside Drive restaurant while Officer Carey was having lunch and a waitress pointed out a child that appeared to be choking. Officer Carey ran over to the baby and administered first aid and got the child breathing again. The baby boy was taken to a hospital to be checked out but he’s expected to be fine.
